Waste Simmers #2 Garage School of Medicine – Vinegar Bar

Please join us for an afternoon of tasting different home made vinegar based drinks, medicines and cocktails!

For the closing of their residency at the Grondstoffenstation the Garage School of Medicine will set up a bar to share the results of their research and home made vinegars. This will be a festive moment to try different cocktails and refreshing drinks made with the vinegars (banana, mango, pear, maybe nectarine) made from leftover fruit collected at Grondstoffenstation.

A free zine on how to try out home made vinegar yourself, and other publications will be available to peruse and take home.

There will also be snacks made by the Gemaal op Zuid’s neighbourhood kitchen de Wijkkeuken van Zuid and good music vibes provided by Kevin Simon Mancera.

This event is part of Waste Simmers, a series of collaborations and events
organised by artist, gardener and avid composter Kate Price at the Afrikaanderwijk Coöperatie’s Grondstoffenstation to explore possibilities of their collected ‘wastes’.
